The Sulzer MIXPAC MBQ 05-16L is a mixer for static 2K cartridges with B system (separate outlets) in a mixing ratio of 1:1 or 2:1. In the B system, an interface with separate outlet openings between the cartridge and mixer prevents cross-contamination of both adhesive components and thus the cartridge from clogging or sticking. Inside the mixer, 16 green mixing elements ensure that both adhesive components are evenly mixed. The inside of the mixer has a diameter of 5.3 mm and the length is 90.7 mm. It is attached to the cartridge using a dark gray bayonet twist lock. The internal volume is 1.88 ml, so that this amount of adhesive remains in the mixer after use and hardens in it. Therefore, this single-use product is not reusable.
The Sulzer MBQ 05-16L static mix nozzle is a quadro mixer with 16 mixing elements with a 5.3 mm element diameter and a Luer Lock Tip. The Luer Lock tip on the MBQ 05-16L allows users to add needles and tips for precision or specialty dispensing. Quadro mixers give superior mixing in a smaller footprint so you can get closer to the materials you are bonding.
