Properties Molykote HSC Plus

• Can be used in a wide temperature range (-30ºC / -22ºF to 1100ºC / 2012ºF)
• Allows non-destructive disassembly, even after prolonged use at high temperatures
• High load capacity
• Due to the stated coefficient of friction, defined prestressing forces can be achieved for bolted connections
• Good protection against corrosion
• Good electrical conductivity

Molykote HSC Plus Applications

• For metal/metal combinations that are subject to high temperatures and friction contacts
• For lead- or nickel-free screw connections
• Suitable for lubrication points at low speeds, subjected to high temperatures and corrosive effects, and also requires a low and constant coefficient of friction
• As a contact lubricant for electrically conductive components
• Successfully used for gas and steam turbine studs, diesel engine turbocharger studs, flanged connections in chemical and petrochemical plants
